Every year, fall in Hattiesburg is packed with events, festivals, and show. Here are some upcoming fall events in Hattiesburg that are fun for the whole family.
Festivals and Concert Series
Hattiesburg hosts its fair share of festivals and concerts, like the annual Eaglepalooza event, a free concert organized by University of Southern Mississippi students.
There’s also Live at Five, a concert series that takes place every Friday in late September to October, and there’s the Brown Bag Concert Series hosted by the Hattiesburg Arts Council.
You won’t want to miss the Hollywood South Urban Film Festival either, which is debuting this year, or the Power 101.1 FM Birthday Bash, an adult-only music and comedy event with performances by a selection of local artists.
October 7-14 is Hattiesburg Restaurant Week, also known as OctoberFEAST, which celebrates the diverse local cuisine of the city. There will also be a Bourbon Celebration in early November that incudes bourbon-tasting, glass-blowing, local music, and painting.
No autumn event season is complete without Halloween activities at the zoo. The Hattiesburg Zoo will host ZooBoo, an event for all ages that includes crafts and even special animal encounters, and the African American Military History Museum hosts the Halloween-themed Booseum!
For over a month of fun seasonal events, there’s no better place to go than Hattiesburg, home of Pine Belt Chevrolet.
